OIT will be upgrading the centralized data storage system known as Isilon beginning 5 p.m. Friday, August 5, until 3 p.m., Saturday, August 6. This storage system provides shared network drives (such as the "H" drive).
If you don't need to use your computer during this maintenance window: - Before the upgrade starts at 5 p.m. on 8/5, save your work and logoff or reboot your computer - After the upgrade, login as you normally would
If you need to use your computer during this maintenance window: - Before 5 p.m. on 8/5, copy all files you will need during the maintenance window from your network drives to your local computer or OneDrive. (Visit the OIT Microsoft OneDrive for Business webpage for information about using OneDrive.) - After 3 p.m. on 8/6, reboot your computer to reestablish network connections and move all modified files back to the appropriate network drive(s)
